If She Comes

If she comes,
Tell her I loved her with all my might,
And bled tears for her,
In all those lonely, desolate nights.

Tell her that she coursed in my veins,
And flooded from my eyes,
That I longed for her embrace and her sweet voice.

Tell her that she was my heartbeat,
She was my first and last love,
And she would always be.

If she comes,
Tell her I loved her,
And missed her in each moment of life,
That her absence made me distraught.

Tell her that I didn’t betray her,
But death was inevitable, inescapable,
And I wouldn’t have left if it were my will.

Tell her that she was the reason I lived,
She was the air I used to breathe,
And she would always be.

If she comes,
Tell her I loved her,
And waited for her until my last breath,
That I stood there until she never came,
Tell her that my heart never skipped her name,
Before it was shattered into pieces,
Before it paused and stopped beating again.

Tell her that she was my prayer and my wishes,
She was my calm and my peace,
And she would always be.

If she comes,
Tell her I loved her,
And burned like fire without her,
And waa tapered, extinguished and blown like smoke.

Tell her that I was lost, lifeless without her,
And my life had voids and spaces,
That she and only she used to complete,
Tell her that I was vulnerable without her,
She was my weakness and my strength,
And she would always be.

If she comes,
Tell her I loved her,
And I wanted no joy, nothing but her,
And she was the most beautiful thing,
That my eyes had ever seen.

Tell her to forgive me and forget me,
Tell her to burn those memories of us together,
Tell her to move on and be happy,
Tell her that destiny separates our world.

Tell her that I used to write thinking of her,
And this would be my last letter for her,
Tell her that I lived like deads without her,
That she was death and my life,
And she would always be.
