As the youngest in the family, he was blessed with every possible amenity, coupled with the latest gizmos, yet did not have a place in their hearts. He had everything one can only dream for. A lavish lifestyle, a joint family and the fact he was the youngest.

His only moment of joy came when the guests visited them. He was pampered endlessly and for the time, was the happiest one. They were always happy to see him and the feelings were reciprocated warmly.

The next opportunity came knocking when his younger grandpa visited them. He was very fond of him, as he was the one who shared a special bond with him. He savored each moment, embracing him with open arms, making new memories, knowing what times lay ahead once he would leave.

Grandpa left and he was once again sidelined. After all, he was the guest room.
