She always dreamed of becoming a writer, an author rather. It was a silent dream, underneath all the other loud dreams of being an engineer, an administrative officer. It was a soothing dream, a wishful thought. Everyday she read stories on The Anonymous Writer, telling herself everyday that tomorrow she would certainly come up with a well-thought story and send it to the page. Days passed, weeks passed, and then even months did. Tomorrow never came. She was crushed under the formulae of thermodynamics and applied mathematics, the writer in her had finally vanquished in the face of the idea of a successful career.

Be careful what you dream of… For there is one and only one thing about dreams that we know for sure, and that is, that dreams are far from the reality; dreams do not come true.
