She had named her “7phile”, because he was practically in love with the number ‘7’. He could connect anything with the number ‘7’. And he liked it. He liked being referred to as 7phile whenever they talked over chat. She had made him one of her best friends. And he wanted to be that forever. He had named her Pixie.

They had discovered many kinds of games that could be played over a chat. They used to refer to every game as a version of improv. Improv was a game that they played regularly. They often modified the rules and the way the game was played. One night, they were talking about creative writing. The conversation flowed from creative writing to instantaneous thought formation. One of them gave a word and the other had to describe it according to the thoughts that came to the mind. They talked about many things that night. Many topics flowed back and forth. The boy was surprised with the depth and maturity of the thoughts that the girl was forming. One such thought was wants and needs, that had actually started this version of the game. The girl had told the boy that she often made these thoughts and they came naturally.

There had been many topics like “beauty”, “fear”, “feeling”, “creativity” and all sorts of topics that two teenager minds can think of. It was getting very exciting for both. Then the special moment came. It was 7phile’s turn to describe a word that Pixie was going to give. And she gave him “love”.

7phile had been trying to guess all the words that she could give, but he had not anticipated this particular word. He had a special sensitive side to the word. And that was the moment when he got to put all those feelings he had for the word to put into words.

He started to type out a description.
Love.
Love is the culmination of the human emotion spectrum. One can see everything, from joy to sorrow, to happiness, to surprise, to anticipation, to the very last emotion that exists on the tree of emotions in a person who is in love. It is a promise, to be kept for the eternity. It is a bond, not to be broken by the hardest blow, it is a convergence, of two similar and sometimes very dissimilar minds, it is a river, bound to fall into the ocean of commitment to live together forever. That is why we say, “We have fallen in love.”

There is nothing that can completely describe what love is. Unlike every emotion, it can not be described completely even by the person who is in love and has experienced it. The human language doesn’t have a perfect synonym for the word love. Love is the one and only nexus of all feelings, fear, beauty, and creativity at its finest.
